  • Entrance fees are to be paid in cash in the morning to the tour guide (approx. €37 for adults, €5 for children aged 0-17 years)

  • This tour operates with a minimum of 5 guests. If the minimum is not met, the tour supplier will either offer you an alternative appointment, or you can choose to cancel the tour (usually 24 hours before the tour starts)
  • To reach Neuschwanstein Castle there is a walking distance slightly uphill. Alternatively, for an additional fee to be paid directly to the local transport company, you can get on a horse-drawn carriage or shuttle bus followed by a short walk. Shuttle bus fee: Adults - €3; Children (7-12 years) - €1.50; Children (0-6 years) - free. Horse-drawn carriage fee regardless of age: ascent €7, downhill €3.50
  • Audio guides are available at Neuschwanstein Castle in the following languages: Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Mandarin, French, Russian, English, German, and Italian. Pre-recorded commentary and headphones on the coach are subject to availability
  • Tour provider is not liable for traffic-related delays
  • Admission is free for infants (0-3 years) but they will not have a reserved seat on the bus
  • Please arrive 20 minutes before bus departure time
  • Please note that no refund can be offered for no-shows

    The tour was well organised and had a great driver and courier who really knew her subject. The process for boarding the bus was quick as our names were already on the list. Everything ran to time and the locations we visited were spectacular

    Christine our tour guide was excellent - funny and engaging - I learnt a lot about the history of the castles, the fascinating story of Ludwig and also the history of Germany. We had a beautiful, scenic journey. Excellent value for money and a fantastic day out. Highly recommended.
