What to expect

Join this full-day tour and visit Arrábida natural park, which is one of the 30 areas that are officially under protection in Portugal. Get ready to discover the importance of wine and culture with an expert guide.

Leaving Lisbon by the Vasco da Gama bridge, your first stop will be at the Castle of Palmela, where you'll have the possibility to admire the panoramic views. You'll then visit a family-owned wine farm for a wine tasting. Your tour will continue with a drive along the mountains of the Arrábida Natural Park to admire the spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean.

After a lunch break in Sesimbra, you'll relish a wine tasting and a guided tour to the Casa Museu José Maria da Fonseca. This producer is one of the oldest wine producers in Portugal. The production is still in the same family and here you'll have the chance to taste some famous wines such as Moscatel and Red wine. Your last stop will be at the King Christ where you'll have a fantastic view. You'll return to Lisbon by the 25th de April Bridge to admire the last sightseeing of the day.

Excellent tour, with visits to other interesting sites on route, as well as the two wineries. One larger winery with a great tour and a smaller one with fantastic tastings and surroundings. Our Tour Guide, Nuno, was amazing, and very knowledgeable with his info, and just made the tour very special.
